What is Remedial Massage Therapy?

​

Remedial therapists are the only massage therapists that study the anatomy and conditions that impact the muscles! They learn how the muscles move and respond, how they heal, and how other parts of your body will compensate under certain conditions or injury. We use specific techniques for each different condition to either increase your range of motion, relieve pain, help with posture and even have specialized techniques that allow your muscles, tendons and ligaments to heal correctly from injury reducing scar adhesions and reducing recovery time. Equally as important, we learn what not to do for various injuries and medical conditions to avoid further injury or side effects.

Qualifications:

Diploma of Remedial Massage

Dual Diploma of Holistic Counselling & Alternative Therapies.

As a licensed Remedial Therapist, I need to uphold certain certificates, listed below.​

• First Aid & CPR

• National Police Check

• PI & PL Insurance

• Association Membership​​

                      AMT - Australian Massage Therapy association.

These qualifications & certifications need to be upheld so I can provide 

Health Fund Rebates.
